After Sarah Miles
Date(s) - 28/04/2016
8:00 pm - 9:30 pm
After Sarah Miles is Kerry native Michael Hilliard Mulcahy’s fourth play and is a ‘must-see’ play from one of the country’s newest merging Playwrights who captures all the beauty and poignancy of Ireland in his work.
Hailed as a touching piece of quality Irish theatre, this one-man show is delivered by Michael in a magnificent moving performance. The play is one of the best recent examples of contemporary Irish theatre pieces that balances the traditional with the modern.
In the play, the character Bobeen wrestles with the harsh tides that an Irish fisherman must endure and while he finds it hard to face the sea now, what he discovered in the mouth of the bay almost thirty years ago keeps calling him there and to the waters beyond it. This time it will connect him to what he thought was lost and gone forever.
