Heritage Week 2015 at Muckross reaches a pinnacle with a very special performance in The Schoolhouse by local group Seven Glens.

Seven Glens is a newly formed group from the Sliabh Luachra area. The group includes guitarist Cathal Flood, vocalist and musician Bríd O’Shea, dancer, musician and vocalist Ciara O’Shea, along with Niamh Dalton on concertina and whistle, Michael Kelliher on melodeon, accordion and mouth organ and Seán Kelliher on mandolin, banjo and mouth organ.

The band bring their many influences to the table, particularly those from the Sliabh Luachra tradition, along with a wide and varied repertoire enabling them to create a modern, lively and unique sound.
