‘Improving Irish Landscape Gardens: Two Eighteenth Century Views’ – a talk by Ruth Musielak.
Ms Musielak will compare the panoramic view of Dublin Bay from Lord Charlemont’s demesne at Marino, with Viscount Kenmare’s watery view of Killarney’s Lakes from Killarney (Kenmare) House. She will discuss the different influences which affected the designs of these two improving landowners.’
