Harness-Maker/Saddler
The harness-maker/saddler made and repaired harness, which was used for both horses and donkeys. This involved making both saddles and bridles for riding horses and winkers, collars, straddles and breeching for working horses. The skill of the harness maker nearly disappeared with the coming of motorised transport but now demand is on the increase with both carriage driving and horse riding becoming popular as a leisure activity.
